Sponsors Needed

  The Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS® has once again agreed to be the presenting sponsor of Scottsdale’s Constitution Commemoration Day activities, which culminate in a festivity on the evening of Wednesday, September 17th, at the Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza.  This is a non-profit event directed toward the celebration of the many freedoms accorded us by the United States Constitution, and invites all school-age children in the Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, and Fountain Hills areas to participate in essay and art contests in conjunction with this important date in our nation’s history.

   This year our theme is The American Spirit.  Students in grades Kindergarten through 8 will bring this theme to life via posters, while high school students will now have the freedom to employ the art medium of their choice.   Cash prizes will be awarded the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each grade in both the poster/art and essay contests.  Additionally, the program the evening of the 17th will present these winners, along with local dignitaries, food, games, a Constitution quiz, voting booths, raffles, and musical and dramatic performances by students from a variety of schools.

  This celebration, which is free to the public, would not be possible without the very generous support of many area businesses and individuals.   We are, therefore, looking for contributions of cash or raffle items so that we might put together an evening that is both fun and informative for all who attend.  The various levels of sponsorship are noted on the attached sponsor contribution form.  All sponsors will be promoted in the printed program the evening of the event and also on our website at www.CCDScottsdale.com.  Major sponsors may request additional publicity and will be accommodated accordingly where possible.
